Cost: 120 EUR

Enjoy learning the basics of printmaking through a simple yet expressive technique called the 'monotype'.
  • All materials will be provided for this full-day course
  • No skills or prior experience is necessary; just a willingness to experiment.
The printmaking studio is located at La Ruche, a picturesque artists' colony founded in 1902. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, it is a lovely spot to spend a creative Saturday. Children aged 10+ accompanied by a parent are welcome.

Additional information
Employed by Degas, Gauguin, and many contemporary artists, printing a monotype involves no toxic materials or laborious technique. It employs methods you can use at home without an etching press or elaborate tools.

About the instructor
Jan Olsson holds a Master of Fine Arts in Drawing and is an engaging teacher with many years of teaching experience. She is also a highly skilled practicing artist who exhibits internationally. For more information on Jan and to view her work visit her website.
