The Coulee Vert is built on the former tracks of the Vincennes railway line that closed in 1969. This is the first elevated trail to convert to gardens. It begins just south of the Bastille Opera and runs above avenue Daumesnil to the Jardin de Reuilly. The walk will be a brisk 9 kilometers round trip.

When registering, please provide a phone number where you can be reached during the walk so that the organizer can reach you.

From Gail South:  I fell in love with France 30 years ago when I brought my bike and tent and spent two months exploring yellow roads on the Michelin maps. I’m an avid cyclist and walker recently moved to Paris.
