Rediscover the Joy of Drawing in a Relaxed, Creative Atmosphere

Drawing is a stimulating activity to refine one’s observation skills, focus, dexterity and mental agility. This two hour class, in a friendly setting, is taught by Andi Ipaktchi, an award winning, artist-illustrator. The exercises will focus on observation and pure line work in various mediums.

Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or rekindling an old passion, there will be something in this class to help you build confidence in drawing. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll explore fundamental techniques in a fun and supportive setting. All materials provided—just bring your creativity!

About the Instructor

Andrea Ipaktchi is an award-winning artist, performer, writer and traveler from Connecticut and based in Paris. Her art incorporates mixed media such as ink, encaustic, and printmaking techniques. She explore themes of love, loss, belonging, and transformation.This results in moody, figurative pieces. She also creates comics. She holds a BFA degree from Parsons School of Design.
