Join us as we explore a lesser-known side of the Paris region and honor the lives of our pet companions living and past. Behind the Art Nouveau gates of this serene park at the edge of the Seine lies one of the oldest pet necropoli in the world. Founded in 1899, le Cimetière des Chiens et Autres Animaux Domestiques is one of the largest cemeteries of its kind in the world. The resting place of several pet luminaries including canine star Rin-Tin-Tin, as well as hundreds of other “petits choux”, we will enjoy an hour or so exploring this fascinating piece of “Paris inconnu” before adjourning for an early apero at the delightful péniche Rosa Bonheur à l’Ouest located nearby.

We will meet at a cafe across the street from the Transilien J/L station Asnières-sur-Seine and walk approximately 20 minutes to the Cimetière. Join us!
