This month we are reviewing and selecting books for the April, May, and June meetings, and we will be creating an initial list of books for the autumn.

As a reminder, we try to select from French novels that are available in English and that have either won (or been shortlisted for) one of France's six literary prizes:

  • Prix Goncourt
  • Prix Femina
  • Prix Interallié
  • Prix Renaudot
  • Prix Médicis
  • Grand Prix du Roman de l'Académie Française

But that's not always possible, and we at times simply select  quality works that are available in translation.

We will be meeting at the book group organizer's apartment in the 15th (near La Motte-Picquet Grenelle metro stop). The address, door code, and phone number will be sent with the reminder emails.

An initial list of book nominees will be emailed after registration, and feel free to make your own recommendations.

Free for WICE members, and as always, we reserve two seats for new members.
