This year Salvador Dali’s paintings will be shown at the Pompidou Center. Although controversial as a celebrity, Dali’s skill at rendering and his interest in the masters is undeniable.

We will look at how Dali interpreted Millet’s Angélus, now at the Musée d’Orsay and Vermeer’s The Lacemaker at the Louvre, as we explore the world of the Surrealist painters and their techniques.

This session will feature composing and working from a still-life with a surrealist slant.

Both beginners and practiced painters are welcome.

One-session registration is now possible.

Instructor: Jan Olsson holds a Master of Fine Arts in Drawing and is an engaging teacher with many years of experience teaching. She is also a highly skilled practicing artist who exhibits internationally. See the artist's website at http://janolssonart.com for more information
