We have come to love the ethereal qualities of Pinot Noir, especially in Burgundy, where the flavors of this cépage have been lauded as "the most haunting, subtle, and ancient on the planet."

Now, we move to the pinnacle of these elegances. The wines of Chambolle-Musigny are often described as the most delicate, "feminine" wines of the Côte de Nuits. Volnays are often described as the most delicate, "feminine" wines of the Côte de Beaune. A showdown was therefore inevitable. Are they different? Very. Come taste for yourself as these lacy, perfumed contenders dance it out for the glory of transBurgundian bragging rights.

Instructor: Thomas Boothe's, extensive knowledge and passion for wine and his innovative teaching style have been fueled through work and study in a variety of wine-related fields.
