The chill days of winter are a wonderful time to discover a country classic from the region of Auvergne in the center of France. La potée is a hearty slow cooked stew prepared with winter vegetables and various cuts of pork. As it heats on the stove, its aroma will whet our appetite for the meal to come. Then after the warming quality of the potée, our chef Françoise will distract us from the winter doldrums by the addition of an exotic twist with bananas and spices using another approach to make us feel warm.
A very satisfying meal indeed!

Instructor: Françoise Meunier trained in the hotel and cooking school in Toulouse.  In 1997, she opened one of the first private cooking studios in Paris.  Her practical approach and easy-to-follow demonstrations will teach you how to reproduce delicious French and ethnic dishes at home.
