Course Description:
Montparnasse !  The mere name evokes images of artists, cafés, bohemia, intellectuals and literary giants.  This walk will take us to several of the places that were popular in Montparnasse’s golden age including cafés and an art school, but also to a working class neighborhood, a surprising church, the calm of the city cemetery, and a bustling market street.
Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes.

Those who wish may join the instructor after the tour for lunch.

Instructor: Lee Hubert, B.A. Boston University, French and English, is a longtime resident of Paris.
