This program builds on the basics of French. It is for students with a basic understanding and ability to communicate and exchange information in a simple way. At the beginning of the program, students can ask simple questions and understand simple answers. You will develop and improve your French language competencies in areas of writing, speaking, listening, and reading. This program’s use of interactive learner-centered methods facilitates engagement and lasting progress.

Please note that this program is geared for learners with some prior knowledge in French (Advanced Beginner). Meeting twice a week for 90-minutes, this course will be held mostly in French to maximize learner exposure to the target language during the initial stages of the French language acquisition process.

This course will be online. Details on joining the course will be emailed to you before the start of the class. If you would like to test out your internet connection from a computer device before the start of the class you can click on the computer icon above or here.
