Post-War architecture in Paris and the grand projects of a modern city
From the Romans to the latest modern innovations, Paris architecture covers almost 2000 years of history.
This session will be dedicated to the post-war modernization of Paris through great projects carried out by the presidents Pompidou in the sixties, or Mitterand’s ‘grand travaux’ in the eighties.
Catherine ESTIVALEZES has been a lecturer with WICE for several years: she guided walking tours in Paris districts, organized visits to museums, held on site lectures at WICE.
