Italy is seductive. The sun, the history, the art, the food … and most nobly … the wine. We all joined the Italian wine fan club last season when we tasted the wines of the Piedmont. This evening, we will continue our tasting tour of Italy’s wine treasures. We saw in the Piedmont how Italian reds are red in a different way than the wines we’re getting to know from France -- and as incredible. The Sangiovese-based wines from Tuscany (Chianti, Brunello, and more) have something in common with their northern neighbors, but are a whole lovely universe unto themselves to be discovered. Andiamo!

Instructor:  Thomas Boothe’s, extensive knowledge and passion for wine and his innovative teaching style have been fueled through work and study in a variety of wine-related fields.
