    Champagne & Choux - Sweet & Savory. A foundation dough in French cooking, Choux is what makes the pastries: éclairs, Paris-Brest, profiteroles, etc., and then savory: Gougères. We’ll make Gougères (cheese puffs), Chouquettes (round, airy, lightly sweet puffs topped with pearl sugar), and Choux à la Crème (sweet puffs filled with a lightly sweetend cream). Pour the Champagne!

While it bakes, I’ll tell you all the secrets to the French Salade, share my French father-in-law's secret vinaigrette dressing, and teach you how to throw an easy, delicious and impressive dinner party or luncheon with these recipes.

Course Description: 

Join Chef Alisa Morov in this series of online tested French Cooking courses for all levels. You’ll learn authentic, delicious French recipes that can be made wherever you live: get techniques, history of what you're making, and insights about Living in France.

The courses are filmed and transmitted live from this private Paris kitchen. Whether taking a single course or joining in the month of culinary delights, you will cook in the comfort of your home while sharing the screen exclusively with WICE member classmates and their personal guests.

Once registered, you will receive the recipe, ingredients, equipment list, and a dedicated Zoom link directly from Alisa to your inbox. Allow yourself time to get prepared! Register now.

WICE online courses are interactive, and for these Zoom sessions we'll allow email questions in advance, work with cameras on and, when finished, share photos of what we've made together.

Alisa will facilitate the learning session, cooking live, showing examples, sharing creations, pouring a glass of wine, and entertaining questions and comments. Tasting while sharing online is welcome!

At the conclusion of each class, participants are encouraged to continue communications with this award winning Paris cooking instructor, caterer, author, guide and foodie. Master an authentic French recipe in 2-3 hours, by joining us Fridays in July! (6:00 PM CET-Paris /12:00 noon EST)

About the Instructor: Alisa Morov from Sweet Pea Paris is originally from Los Angeles, where she has cooked, baked and made art for many years. Passionate about people, food, cultural differences, architecture, art… For over 20 years Alisa has been in France: cooked in restaurants, written three cookbooks, launched a private chef-catering business, Sweet Pea Paris, that has expanded to include sharing her passions about French culture and great food, into food tours and teaching cooking & culture, via classes, in person and now via Zoom. What happens when we share food is magic.


This class will be held via Zoom. The instructor will email the link and details for preparation in advance. The shopping list for cooking ingredients will be emailed ahead of time for individual purchase.
