Hooray! Lockdown will be loosened on Monday, May 11, and WICE is marking this milestone with an apéro Concert and Sing Along on Sunday, May 10, at 6 p.m. WICE’s very own Music Appreciation instructor, harpist Lauren Woidela, sitting in front of the greenery outside her window, will open the event by playing for us a combination of classical harp compositions by Bach and Debussy among others, as well as lighter fare by Cole Porter and Rodgers & Hammerstein. We will top off event by joining Lauren and one another in singing a few old favorites. You won’t want to miss this joyful event!
Lauren will be back at WICE on Friday, June 12, to teach us how to distinguish between Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann, both of whom wrote many sublime art songs using texts by great German poets. Enroll now!
