Located in Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse in the Yvelines department and about an hour from Paris / Denfert-Rochereau by RER, the Domaine of Coubertin is a place of patrimony. The Coubertin Foundation links the past, the present and the future through its roots in contemporary artistic works.

The Coubertin Foundation emerged from the encounter between Yvonne de Coubertin, inheritor of the Coubertin estate, and Jean Bernard, artist, stone-cutter and renovator of the French Guildsmen’s Association.

Our visit will take place in the Coubertin Foundation park. You will discover an exceptional wooded park and a museum of outdoor sculptures, the Jardin des Bronzes. During this visit, our guide will tell us the evolution of the sculpture at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th (works of Bourdelle, Bernard, Pan ...) between figurative art and abstraction.

The Coubertin Foundation is opening its doors to WICE members on this very special occasion.  Do not miss this exceptional visit!

About the Instructor: Instruction will be Provided by the Coubertin Foundation upon arrival.

Special instructions: The details concerning the meeting point at RER Denfert-Rochereau will be sent to members after registration.
