We celebrate the coming of spring by stealing the last cool days of winter to taste some elegant red Burgundies from the Côte d’Or. These wines are the most perfumed, ethereal wines of France… and the world.
Pinot Noir, red Burgundy’s excellent grape, is extremely sensitive to changes in terroir (confirmed in the film “Sideways” as the grape that requires the most constant care and attention). We will see first-hand how this sensitivity transforms a single grape into such radically different guises.
Come join the fun and taste some excellent expressions of this haunting and exquisite cépage.

Instructor: Thomas Boothe’s, extensive knowledge and passion for wine and his innovative teaching style have been fueled through work and study in a variety of wine-related fields.
