Come and visit the charming village of Giverny and the House of the master impressionist Claude Monet, his workshop and gorgeous flower gardens including the famous Japanese bridge and water lily pond. You will feel as if you have stepped into one of Monet’s paintings with azaleas, rhododendrons and grasses surrounding you. A preview of what you'll see: http://giverny.org/gardens/fcm/visitgb.htm

After lunch, you will visit the town and the Museum of Impressionisms currently displaying an exhibition of Pierre Bonnard, a postimpressionist painter well-known for his portraits, landscapes and especially his exceptional use of colors. We will then relax in the “Remarkable Gardens” of this prize-winning museum. Visit this museum's site:http://giverny.org/museums/impressionism/

Enjoy this land of impressionists with our instructor who will accompany us the whole day from Paris to Giverny, and be home in Paris before 6.00 p.m.!

Instructor:
Amy Kupec-Larue came to Paris in 1989. She began giving garden tours in 2006 in Paris and is now a permanent member of the jury for the Bagatelle Rose Competition. She also enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for the plant world and the impressionism.
