Ready to master your camera's technical controls? Desperate to move beyond "automatic" and start to use the true creative power of your camera? Fear not. This workshop will provide the tools you need to make sure you and your camera are on friendly terms. You'll learn about the basic choices to be made technically and creatively. You'll also get hands-on practice in selecting subjects and composing shots as we wander the Ile St Louis and Ile de la Cité during what will (hopefully) be the week that spring emerges. We'll take a break for lunch at a local bistro and end the day by looking at your images (accompanied by friendly class critique).

This workshop is held on a Saturday to be "family friendly" and so that those who work during the week can join in. Teenagers are welcome too. Just register your teen when you register yourself (you must be a member of WICE, but your child does not need to be a member).

Instructor: Meredith Mullins is an internationally exhibited photographer and popular photography instructor, a winner of the 2009 Grand Concours Photo sur Paris and 2010 PX3 Competition, and author of the award-winning book In a Paris Moment.
