Black and white images are timeless, classic and mysterious. Color is poetic and emotional. Learn how to get the best from your pictures applying the techniques of both styles.

The workshop consists of one four-hour session.  The first part will address theory, explaining colors and black and white rules, as well as reviewing some of the classic masters of photography.  During the second part of the course we will shoot outdoors and practice what we have learned with some interesting assignments.  The final segment of the course will focus on analysis and review of our images.

Students can expect to:

  • Learn about color and black and white photography

  • Learn about composition

  • Critique their own work.

Suitable for all levels of photographer.
