10:30am - 1:30pm

Cost: €25

Come with us as we explore and learn the history of the recently pedestrianized Republic Square; symbol of the French nation and center of commemoration and protest. We will walk along the Canal St. Martin with its picturesque locks and bridges to the Hotel du Nord immortalized in the Marcel Carné's film. Then, we will discover the 17th-century courtyard of the St. Louis Hospital similar to the Place des Vosges. From the trendy rue St. Marthe, we will climb to the romantic Buttes Chaumont Park.

Please come prepared for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.

Guide: Brad Newfield, highly experienced walking guide in Paris.
