The classic debate: color or black and white?  Black and white is timeless, classic and mysterious. Color is poetic and emotional.  Learn how to get the best of your pictures applying the techniques of both styles.

The workshop consists of two four-hour sessions.  Each session will begin with theory, the rules for each type of photography will be explained and illustrated by examples of photos by the masters. Next students will practice shooting outdoors with entertaining assignments. A friendly review of all the images taken during the class will follow.

You will definitely look at reality with a different perspective!

Students can expect to:

  • learn the basic principles involved in black & white and color photography
  • get hands-on experience with both techniques through practical assignments
  • develop critical skills through peer review.

Course Requirements

  • Suitable for all levels of photographers
