Created by UNIFAB (French Union of Manufacturers), located in a private mansion in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, the museum of counterfeiting was initiated as a didactic museum to make people aware of counterfeiting in any fields, and its impact on the international economy.

About the Guide: Catherine Estivalezes holds a PhD in British and American Studies from the Sorbonne and has been involved for years in a foundation for promoting contemporary art, before getting back into Art History studies. She has several years of experience in guiding, including districts, monuments, museums, and temporary exhibitions. She also coordinates several tours all over Europe.
