Night photography is a challenging and sometimes difficult adventure but the rewards are astounding when you know some special techniques.

This advanced photography course will let you master low light and night photography, plus techniques of light painting, where a rich depth of colours is created with reflections on water enhanced by a black background.

Technical information is presented just before dark and the class will then try the techniques described. Review and suggestions finish the course.

Course requirements

  • Participants are to bring a camera that can manually set ISO, shutter speed, and aperture, plus know how to set manual mode.
  • Your flashlight will be used for light painting. Participants are also encouraged to bring a tripod.
