Course Description

It's time to make all those buttons on your camera work to your advantage, and to focus on the real fun of digital photography: capturing memorable moments.

This one-day workshop will provide you with the tools you need to make sure you are familiar with your camera. You'll learn creative guidelines and technical controls in the comfort of the instructor’s Île St Louis atelier. You'll get hands-on practice with creative assignments as you wander the Île St Louis and Île de la Cité. You’ll take a break for lunch at a local bistro and end the day by reviewing images from each photographer.

Please note: The lunch price is not included in the course fee.

Students can expect to:

  • Become familiar with their camera
  • Learn about creative guidelines and technical controls
  • Review the camera’s potential as an artistic tool
  • Participate in a friendly critique session of their work

Course Requirements

  • Suitable for beginner levels of photographers and those wishing to review their skills
