WICE Member Benefit! An excellent reason tojoin WICE!
Your tech questions answered--for free!
You can get help from the friendly and knowledgeable WICE TECH TEAM: Jonathan Weiland, Mike Franks, Dania Lawand, and Richard Perlman. The goal of the Tech Talks is to ensure members have the ability to fully participate in WICE and other online activities.
First, the Tech team will address questions related to participating in online events and activities. Priority will be given to questions submitted in advance. Email your questions/problems totechquestions@wice-paris.org.
The second part will consist of a discussion on computer and internet topics of general interest, not necessarily related to WICE activities.
We will hold these hour-long informal sessions once a month, generally on the first Wednesday of the month.
Tech Talk is free but you must register to participate. REGISTER HEREor send an email totechquestions@wice-paris.org to receive the Zoom link.
Disclaimer: This is advice only and to the best of our volunteers’ ability. WICE does not guarantee results and is not responsible for any damages to personal devices that may occur.
Participants are divided into small groups of 5 - 6 people, and the conversations are 45 minutes in French and 45 minutes in English. There's no formal topic, subjects arise spontaneously and change as the group desires. Although an intermediate level of English and French is expected, there is a wide range of abilities.
Participation is free with WICE Membership — One more reason to become a member!

WICE WINTER-SPRING WALKS
The WICE series of leisurely walks will introduce you to famous names and fabulous buildings, social history and local legends, high culture and juicy scandal. Pick just one or take them all.
Instructor Deborah Hunter, from Edinburgh, Scotland, has a background in museums and culture, and enjoys exploring unexpected sights in familiar places.
In the Luxembourg Gardens, a popular tourist site, we will focus on some of the extraordinary women of the neighborhood: the former queen who created the gardens, the pioneering female scientist who lived there, and the cross-dressing revolutionary writer who worked there. In contrast, it was also a site of horror. Sunday, March 19, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM To register, visit here.
