In these times of severe unemployment and global uncertainty, doesn’t the phrase “you can be anything you want to be” sound like a pipe dream from the 1950s?  Not to Chiara Condi, a young Italian-American who recently founded an association, Led by Her, dedicated to enabling women of any age, crushed by family violence, first to rebuild themselves and then to embark on a path to entrepreneurship.  Chiara will tell us how she conceived this mission, and how she has recruited professional mentors, found business partners, organized workshops and much more, thus creating a powerful springboard to enable this vulnerable segment of the population to “be anything they want to be.”

About the Speaker: A graduate of Harvard, the London School of Economics, and Sciences Po (Paris), Chiara Condi has been a determined advocate for women and especially for disadvantaged women since starting to work with the homeless at age 20. She is a strong believer in goal setting, perseverance and concrete action as proved by the already stunning results of Led by Her.
