AAWE was founded in 1961 to protect the citizenship rights of Americans married to Europeans and the children of these bicultural and bilingual families. AAWE promotes American culture in this context and assists in resolving needs specific to its permanent resident membership. AAWE strives to strengthen understanding among peoples of America, France and Europe on both a personal and cultural level.

Located in London, FOCUS is a non-profit organisation offering services and resources to the international community.  WICE Members can obtain a discounted membership at £200 rather than the usual £250.

Ile de France Walks does Wednesday hikes in the Paris region. About half of us are English-speaking French. The rest are other English-speaking people from a wide variety of nationalities. MESSAGE is a network of over 1000 English-speaking families of all nationalities who live in and around Paris, offering contacts, activities, information and support to pregnant women and families with children. The Women's International Club of Paris (pariswic.org)
Le WIC de Paris has a membership of over 200 members consisting of 40 different nationalities. It enables like-minded women living in and around Paris to share their cultures and is open to all women who have lived in an international environment. The language of the club is English. There is a monthly meeting 10 months of the year (excluding July and August) with a guest speaker followed by lunch. It offers a wide range of activities and events, put on by its members, which includes a monthly coffee held in members' homes.
