Expert Panel: Getting Published Today

Thursday, 30 June, 2016

2:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Writing your book, (or short story, or poem, or essay) is only half of the battle. The next hurdle is getting it published.

Do you know how to get your manuscript noticed? Have you wondered whether it is better to self-publish, seek out a traditional publisher or explore the relatively new third option of partner publishing? Do you need an agent, or an editor, and how do you find a reputable one? Our panel will address all of these questions and more.

Learn about your options from those "in the know." Our expert panel includes publishers, agents, editors, and authors. They will give advice on how to improve your chances of seeing your work in print, or on e-readers, as the case may be.

This panel is a part of the Paris Writers' Workshop.

This event is free to PWW participants.

For those not enrolled in a PWW master class, the fee is
10. The fee must be paid in advance for attendees to be added to the guest list.

This event will be held at UNESCO

7 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris

Please note: UNESCO is a secure building. Please allow extra time to pass through the screening area and check-in at the front desk. You will have to leave a form of ID at the front desk in order to enter the building. You will find guides in the lobby with WICE signs waiting to escort you to the panel room.
