Author, Dana Micucci, shares her personal story about her successful career as a New York journalist and author who traveled the world, became a healing practitioner, and embarked on a new life at age 50.

With warmth, humor, and anecdotes from her travels, she discusses how she came to write her inspirational travel memoir, Sojourns of the Soul: One Woman’s Journey around the World and into Her Truth, a gold winner in the 2013 Nautilus Book Awards, and her new novel, The Third Muse, a metaphysical time-travel mystery set in the international art world of New York, Paris, and Florence that celebrates the healing power of love.

Dana’s extensive travels led her to a variety of exotic destinations and sacred sites, where she delved deeply into the world’s diverse "wisdom traditions" (Egyptian, Tibetan, Mayan, shamanic, mystical Christian, etc.). In the process, she found that many of the core teachings and practices of these "wisdom traditions" led her more deeply into her heart—to truly embodying the heart’s wisdom and a heart-centered way of being.

During a lively discussion, Dana will share how you can do the same by applying these heart wisdom teachings and practices to your daily life. There will be time for questions and answers afterward.

About Dana Micucci:
