Upstairs at Duroc Seeks Submissions
We're now accepting submissions of poetry, fiction,
creative nonfiction and artwork for our Spring 2007 issue. Contributors
receive one free copy and may be asked to read/display artwork
at one of two readings.
Prose and Poetry: We accept any subject or
style of English language poetry, fiction, essay, creative nonfiction
or translation; limit 5 poems or 2000 words of prose; excerpts
welcome.
Artwork: We accept any form
of black and white visual art; all art, except drawings, must
be submitted by photo prints no larger than A4 size via snail
mail or send JPEG files via email or on CD-ROM; limit 5 pieces;
we print in black and white; submissions may also be considered
for the WICE catalog. Art cannot be returned.
Where to Send: We prefer e-mail
submissions to: wice@wice-paris.org;
subject heading: Upstairs Submission; attach writing as Word
for PC or RTF files only. If using snail mail, send hard copy
or disk (Word for PC, RTF or JPEG only) to: Upstairs at Duroc
c/o WICE, 20 bd du Montparnasse, 75015 Paris, France.
Include: Cover sheet with name,
address, phone, email address, word count if submitting prose
and a short bio.
Deadline: Upstairs at Duroc
accepts submissions between September 1 and January 31.

Upstairs readings in Paris. If requesting a copy by mail, enclose
a French check for 11 euros (includes donation and postage)
