Do you have a new camera … or perhaps you’re still getting to know your old camera? Wondering how to make all those buttons and dials work to your advantage? Trying to move beyond “automatic”? Fear not. This workshop will provide the tools you need to understand how you and your camera can work together. You’ll learn about the camera’s technical and creative controls in the comfort of Meredith’s Ile St Louis atelier and then you’ll get hands-on practice in selecting subjects and composing shots as we wander the Ile St Louis and Ile de la Cité. We’ll break for lunch at a local bistro, then continue shooting, and wrap up by critiquing the class’s images. You’ll come away with the tools and inspiration you need to make memorable photographs.

Instructor:  Meredith Mullins is an internationally exhibited photographer and popular photography instructor; a winner of the 2009 Grand Concours Photo sur Paris, 2010 PX3 Competition, and 2010 Worldwide Gala Photo Awards; a finalist for the 2010 Julia Margaret Cameron Award; and author of the award-winning book “In a Paris Moment.”
